Nancy Marie Studebaker Lynch, age 96, passed away June 16, 2025. She was born March 29, 1929, in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel and Marie Studebaker. She was a proud graduate of Bethel High School, class of 1947. Nancy married Marvin Lynch on August 20, 1949, and went on to have three children: Cathy (Paul) Pullins, Kay Lynch and Ken (Nancy) Lynch. She had ten grandchildren: Erin (Dave) Overla, Alaine (Zeb) Kirby, John (Hillary) Pullins, Paulette (Phil) Prince, Samuel (Ashley) Pullins, and Cristen (Josh) Fiebiger, Rebekah (Angelo) Manzo, Sarah (Jared) Blackmore, Brian (Erin Carreiro) Lynch, and Brittany (Craig) Day. Nancy was also blessed with 30 great grandchildren with another coming in November. Nancy attended college for two years and went on to substitute teach for 30 years. She was a loyal member of the West Charleston Church of The Brethren where she was a custodian for 30 years. Nancy also belonged to a women’s fellowship through the church that quilted lap quilts that were donated to various hospitals and organizations. Many people were blessed with these quilts. Nancy was a 4H advisor for 20 years and was able to share her knowledge and experiences of farm life with many children. She belonged and helped plan many activities for the Bethel Alumni Association. Nancy was a member of Tipp City Seniors for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially during the Holidays and family picnics at the pond. She will be remembered for her love of all Ohio State sports, her kind heart, her love of laughter and her jokes, which she always thought were very funny! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, parents, two brothers, a niece and nephew. Visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2025, from 11am-1pm with the service to honor Nancy beginning at 1:00 pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Nancy’s name to the Bethel Alumni Association. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.trostelchapman.com.
