Myrtle Louise Liffick

Myrtle Louise Liffick, 96, of New Carlisle passed away peacefully at home with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren by her side, on October 26, 2024. She was born in England on February 13, 1928, to the late Horace & Ellen Marshman. She retired from Ohio Masonic Home as a nurse assistant. She loved to gamble and go to the Casino. Myrtle loved to knit and made many items for her family over the years. She enjoyed traveling, Atlantic City was her favorite. Myrtle enjoyed reading and playing games on her tablet. She loved her family and will be dearly missed by those who knew her. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband William Robert Liffick, her sister Hazel Underwood, with whom she shared a home for 30 years after both becoming widowed; daughter, Christine Perkins; grandchildren, Billy Perkins & Tracy Perkins; great-grandson, Robert Perkins; stepdaughter Linda Liffick; siblings, Horace, Pansy & Iris. Myrtle is survived by her children, Janet (Bruce) Blair, JoAnn Rice, and Barbara (Michael) Petrella, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar, & Fraley Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 11 am-1 pm with a graveside service to follow at New Carlisle Cemetery.
