Miriam Florence Harris passed on October 16, 2017 at the age of 101 years, 9 months and 17 days. She was born on 29 Dec 1915 on the Upp farm south of Greenfield, Highland County, Ohio. She married Arthur Ernest Harris on 27 June 1936 in Greenup, KY, USA. She was a governmental civil servant and homemaker. She loved traveling and RVing and saw much of Europe and nearly all American states. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia Alma Florea and Gilbert Leander Plummer, husband of 62 years Arthur Ernest Harris, and daughter Sharon Kaye Lorentz of Middleburg, Florida. She is survived by her son Terry Harris (Joanne), four grandchildren Tracey Mosley (Jamie) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Terry Harris (Margaret) of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Heather Hough (Billy) of Maxville, Florida and Jennifer Waldron (Robbie) of Middleburg, Florida, 5 great-grandchildren Katie and Logan Mosley of Chesapeake, Virginia, Carson Harris of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Ashlyn Williams (Jocham) of Macclenny, Florida, and Austin Waldron of Middleburg, Florida and one great-great grandchild Waylon Williams of Macclenny, Florida. Services to honor Miriam will be Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Ferncliff Cemetery. A gathering will begin at 12:30PM.
