Minnie B. Knight

Knight, Minnie B., 85 of Springfield passed away December 8, 2018 in the Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. She was born in Adair County, KY on February 26, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecil Akin. Minnie had been a bookkeeper for many years. She attended Springfield Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of the Gold Wing Riders Association. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Knight Sept. 12, 2018, brother Joseph Akin, Jr. and sister Nadia Conner. Survivors include her children John (Roberta) Craig, James Craig and Kenneth (Anna) Craig; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; close friends Mike Stevens and Pam King. Services to honor Minnie will be Thursday at 2:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Del Wallace officiating. Visitation will begin at Noon.
