Mindy Ann Fent passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5th. She was born on March 27th, 1982, to her loving parents Mark Fent and the late Debra Fent (Boggs). Mindy had her two children, Hayley Streets and Kade Fent, who she absolutely adored and cherished with her entire heart.

Mindy was a graduate of Bethel High school in 2000 and went on to have a successful career in contracting at the Wright-Patterson Air-Force Base. Mindy loved to sing and go to concerts with her daughter, attend her son’s sporting events to cheer him on, and was a cherished and devoted partner to Shawn Zink for nearly ten years, sharing a bond built on love, laughter, and unwavering support. Despite her battle with losing her eyesight, she was grounded by her unwavering faith in her savior, Jesus Christ.

Mindy formed lasting friendships and created countless memories with her friends and family that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her warmth, loyalty, and genuine spirit made her a wonderful friend and an irreplaceable part of their lives. Her laughter was contagious and her love for her family and friends were admirable.

Surviving Mindy is her father, Mark Steven Fent of Springfield; her children Hayley Marie Streets (Jordan Streets) of Ridgeway and Kade Steven Fent of Tipp City; her brother, Mark Steven Jr. (Katie Fent) of Huntsville; nieces and nephews Hannah (Parker and great nephew Waylon Martin) Issac Fent, Hayden Fent, and June Fent; sister Ami Michelle Harrell (Chris Harrell) and niece and nephews Katie, Chris, and Matthew Harrell of Chesapeake, Virginia; her long term partner, Shawn Zink of Huber Heights, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Debra Sue Fent, paternal grandparents Betty and Orla Fent, and maternal grandparents Hobert and Marjorie Boggs.

Mindy’s services will take place on Saturday, April 11th from 12pm-2pm to celebrate her life and legacy at Trostle, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home in New Carlisle. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.trostelchapman.com.
