Mildred B. Jackson

Jackson, Mildred B., 91 of Springfield died June 14, 2020 in the Springfield Masonic Community., Springfield, Ohio. She was born in Irvine, KY, on June 17, 1928, the daughter of Archie and Ethel Webb. She retired from WPAFB in procurement. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband George and brother Paul Webb. She was an outstanding golfer and played mostly in Florida, where she is credited with 10 hole-in-ones. Mildred also enjoyed going junking with her sisters. Survivors include her son Dr. Michael (Mary) Steinmetz; brother Freddie (Thelma) Webb; sisters Lois Jackson, ImogenePacine, Patricia (Marion) Conneley; grandchildren Brandon (Megan Wavra), Ryan Steinmetz and Emily (Michael) Byrd; many nieces and nephews including Cindy Brown; and many close friends in Cincinnati and Florida. Services to honor Mildred will be Friday at 11:00AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Bobby Hile officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association. Entombment to follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
