Michael "Mike" Eldon Wollum

Michael Eldon Wollum, born February 1, 1956, in Springfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Mike was a graduate of Greenon High School, class of 1975. He spent many years farming with his uncles, which he greatly loved. He was also a resident of Southbrook Nursing Home where he was loved by the staff and the many friends he made there. Mike enjoyed watching golf, playing video games, playing with the family dogs, and was a huge NASCAR fan. Most of all he loved seeing his family and friends. Mike was an ornery soul and fun to be around. He will be missed by all those who were blessed to know him.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Lela Wollum; wife, Karen Wollum; and son, Michael “Mikey” Eugene Wollum. He is survived by his son, Jeremy (Rhonda) Wollum; granddaughter, Lydia Carson; great grandson, Dawson; 3 step grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Wollum; as well as many extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at Richards, Raff, and Dunbar Memorial Home, 838 East High Street.
