Michael Jon Keefer

Michael Jon Keefer age 66 of Columbus, formerly of Springfield took his last breath on Monday, November 6, 2023, at The Ohio State University Medical Center while surrounded by his loving family.  Michael was born the son of Dr. Edward W. & Margaret (Brown) Keefer on January 30, 1957, in Albany, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Jane Hartman; brother Robert Keefer.  Michael is survived by his beloved wife Roberta of 43 years; sons Matthew (Diana) Keefer of Ashville, Paul Keefer of Columbus, & Philip Keefer of Columbus; daughter Meghan (Zach Payne) Keefer of Columbus; brothers Edward (Bettye) Keefer, & David Keefer; grandchildren Logan & Hailey; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Michael was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, & friend.  He will be missed by all of those who love him.  Upon retirement as a Respiratory Therapist Michael moved to Columbus to be close to family.  He enjoyed attending all the grandkids’ sporting events.  Michael was an avid Cleveland Browns fan & rooted for The Ohio State Buckeyes football team.  A gathering of friends & family will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 4PM – 6PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E.
