Michael William Allender I

Michael William Allender I, 74, of Medway, Ohio went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2024. He was born in Springfield on March 20, 1949, to the late Paul and Betty Allender. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather.  Mike was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved working on cars and watching T.V., usually NASCAR or crime shows. He loved to drive and spent many years working as a Truck Driver and Trainer. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his wife. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Sharon (Sharp) Allender; children, Brian Allender, Paul “Rob” Allender, Melanie Hynes, Michael Allender II (Stephanie), Joshua Allender, Hannahlee Allender; Kaylee Allender, Kameron Hynes, Brittany Cole, Kayleen Rife, Maggy Allender, Bailey Allender, Peyton Allender, Jacob Honshul and many other grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Melissa (Sharp) & Gary Bowman; niece, Brandi (John) Koehler and children Landen & Lainey; special friends, Tony & Mandy Morrison & family and many other friends and relatives. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sandee McLaughlin, and grandchildren, Amber Allender, Mackenzee Hynes, and Dustin Allender. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home from 11 am to 12 noon, with the services to follow at noon with Tony Morrison presiding.
