Merrill Knipp

Merrill Knipp, 89, formerly of New Carlisle, passed away in Ashland, Kentucky, on December 25, 2024. He was born in Lawrence County, Ohio, on October 5, 1935, to the late Cyrus and Ida Knipp. He retired from Zed Industries in Dayton and later moved back to the Ironton area. He is survived by his son James (Amelia) Knipp and his grandchildren Brandon, Celina, Tatiana, and Marcus. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Knipp, and his siblings. A visitation will be held on December 31, 2024, from 10:30 to 11:30 am with a memorial service to follow at 11:30 am at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar, and Fraley Funeral Home in New Carlisle.
