Melba L. Petticrew

Melba L. Petticrew age 78 of Springfield, passed away on August 8, 2021. She was born the daughter of William Powers & Martha J. Edwards on August 8, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents. Melba is survived by her loving son & caretaker James (Chris Griggs) Petticrew; grandchildren Jamie Petticrew, Brandy Petticrew, Brittani Petticrew, Betsy Trinkle; great grandchildren Ryan, Trenity, Infiniti Rose, Serenity, Eternity, Thomas Adams, Sierra, Allie, Jordan Petticrew, Laney Trinkle, Shelby, A’lena Petticrew; numerous great great grandchildren; former husband Herbert Petticrew. Melba was a loving mom, grandma, and friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. Melba was know as the life of the party, she knew how to have a good time & loved spending quality time with her family & pets. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
