Maurice Eugene Tittle

Maurice Eugene Tittle, 91, of Brookdale Buck Creek Assisted Living went to be with his Lord, September 9, 2018. He was a 50 year resident of New Carlisle, Ohio. Maurice was born December 13, 1926, in Springfield, the son of the late William Harold and A. Beryl (Cron) Tittle. He was a member of the Huber Heights Church of God, formerly attending Maiden Lane Church of God and San Bernardino (CA) Church of God. Maurice was an electrician by vocation. He loved traveling the world, making beautiful woodwork, furniture and participating in over 100 Volks marches. He loved his country, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII, U.S. Air Force during Korea and as a reservist for 21 years. Maurice retired from both his reserve post as Master SGT and his Civil Service position in 1986. He is survived by his children Melvin (Lilibeth) Tittle of Columbus, OH, Karen (Jerry) Chambliss of Panama City, FL and Karla (Billy) Winston on Louisburg, NC; grandchildren Joshua, Amy and Daniel; granddaughter-in-law Jamie; great-grandchildren Travis, Shane, Cierra, Cameron and Brooklynn; a brother Thomas (Wanda) Tittle of Panama City, FL. Maurice is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Wilma Jean (Bacome) Tittle in 2007 and brothers Harold, William, Lawrence and Paul Tittle. A special thank you to all his wonderful neighbors on Edgebrook Ave., who gave of themselves to help him in numerous ways and to the wonderful staff of Brookdale Buck Creek for making his last year one filled with love and fun. A funeral service to honor Maurice will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM in TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
