Mary E. Kidder

Mary E. Kidder, 96 of Christiansburg passed away January 24, 2022. She was born October 10, 1925 in Springfield, Ohio to the late William & Grace Grube. Mary was a cosmetologist and worked at her own salon. During WWII Mary worked at Hobart & Waco to contribute to the war effort, she was given the Navy E award for her work. She is survived by her children Barbara Patton, Roger Kidder, Steven (Debra) Kidder; daughter in law Pamela Kidder; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews & other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Charles Kidder; son Kenneth Kidder; siblings, Margaret, Pearl & Harmon. Visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 2pm on February 1, 2022, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2pm. Burial to follow at Casstown Cemetery.
