Mary Kathryn Hause

Mary Kathryn Hause, 79, a lifetime resident of Springfield went to be with her Lord after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She born July 29, 1938 the daughter of Omer and Nan Grove and was a 1956 graduate of Springfield High. Mary worked at Household Finance Company for 22 years and retired from Mercy Medical Center. She was a lifetime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and devoted her life to serving the Lord and all that she met. She leaves a hole in our hearts, God sure got a good one. Mary is survived by nieces Roben (James) Dixon of Hebron, KY, Pam Gross of Charleston, OH, Debbie (Rich) Henry of Amherst, OH, Peggy (Steve) Holloway of Springfield, Melissa Rowland of Jackson Heights, NY, Shawna (Tim) Johnson of Springfield; nephews Michael (Kris) Grove and Barry Rowland of Springfield, Garry (Cindy) Rowland of Aliso Viejo, CA, and Byron (Jean) Hause of Columbus, OH; sister-in-law Gertrude Grove of Springfield; brother-in-law Bill (Mardene) Hause of Springfield; numerous great nieces and great nephews; best friend to the end Anita (Larry) Cydrus. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 34 years David Hause; brothers Donald (Blanche) Grove, Eugene (Ruth) Grove, James and Pete Grove; sister Dorothy (William) Rowland; and nephew Jeffery Rowland. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry Grunden officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
