Mary Anne Grewe

Mary Anne Grewe, 81, of New Carlisle , OH, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018. She was born in Springfield, Ohio October 5, 1936. Mary Anne was the daughter of the late Vincent E. and Mary (Sexton) Brandon. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Doug of many years. She is survived by two brothers Robert Brandon of Springfield and Jerry Brandon of MD; sons: James E. "Bud" (Michelle) Miller, Jr., of Springfield and Mike Miller of Hamilton; (sons of James E Miller, Sr.) ; seven grandchildren: Niki (Russ), Jason (Ashley), Jake (Kristin), Courtney, and Karlie Miller, Nick Monge, Ryan (Christine) Monge; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Doug and Mary Anne lived most of their lives in the New Carlisle area, and were owners and operators of D&M carry out. Mary Anne then earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and worked most of her Nursing career at the Dayton Veteran’s Hospital, retiring at the age of 75. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, with Father Bill Kramer as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
