Mary Dennison

Mary Dennison 90, of Springfield, Ohio, died on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was born March 25, 1930 in Salyersville, Kentucky, the daughter of John B. and Lavinia (Dyer) McCarty.Mary is known for taking care of her family as a wife, mother and grandmother. She also was an avid gardener and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. She was known best as ‘Nanny’ to the family when grandchildren were born and she will always be very treasured by each and every one. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lee Dennison, son Kenneth Michael Dennison and daughter Linda Lee Dennison and all siblings (Herchel, Chattam, Cecil, Sturgell, Billy, Willard and Eloise Moreland). She is survived by her children Gary Lee Dennison (Dawn) of Middleton, Ohio, daughter Mary Kathleen Dennison (Frank Matyac) of Columbus, Ohio, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
