Mary Elaine Billheimer

Mary Elaine Billheimer, 82, of Medway, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in West Union Ohio on October 27, 1943, to the late Alva and Bonnie Baker, the oldest of ten children. Elaine was a member of Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years, serving as a Sunday School teacher, singing in the choir, going on mission trips and in many other capacities. She worked for Tecumseh Local Schools for 35 years, retiring as the children’s nutrition manager. Elaine enjoyed shopping, spending time in her flower garden, cooking and baking, coloring, dot to dot, and diamond art. But most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted Christian woman that always made time to read her Bible and spend time in prayer. Elaine was a true example of a Godly woman. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Jerry Billheimer, son, Michael Billheimer, grandson Cody Billheimer, siblings, Beverly Baker, Jerry (Janie) Baker, David (Teresa) Baker, Kim (Dan) Bridenbaugh, Pam (Larry) Jamison and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Along with her parents Elaine was preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce Nelson, Junior Baker, Kathy Baker and Vickie Baker. Visitation with family will be held on August 10, 2026, from 2-4 pm at Bethel Community Church, 4400 Osborn Rd, Medway, Ohio. A Celebration of Elaine’s life will follow at 4pm at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Day City Hospice. The family would like to extend special thanks to Mary Mayo, Kim Diogo and the many other nurses that cared for her over the years.
