Mary K. Barnes

Mary K. Barnes, 78, of New Carlisle passed away Monday, February 17, 2020. She was born September 4, 1941 and was raised by Mary Flannigan and James Roby. Mary spent many years working at the Mel-o-dee Restaurant. Along with Mary and James she is preceded in death by sons, James McClain & Marion H. Phillips; partner Bufford Blaylock; brothers, Larry & Raymond. She is survived by her children, Jeff (Helena) Phillips, Barbara (Shawn) Mears, Mark (Catrina) Phillips & April (Kenneth) Ball; grandchildren, Nicole McClain, Jamie Phillips, Amber Wallen, Kathryn Mears, Katie Ball, Kenny Ball, Trevor, Jeffrey, Ashley, Elizabeth, Skyler, Jacob & Owen Phillips; great-grandchildren, Alexys, Sebastian, Nyah, Hunner, Caylee, Olyvia, Xavier, Arianna; brother William & other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday 11AM at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with service to follow at Noon. Burial will take place at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
