Marsha Sue Clendenon

Marsha Sue Clendenon, age 79, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026. Born on April 19, 1947, in Paintsville, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ray Blair and Alma Povrzenich.

Marsha dedicated many years of her life to her work as a manicurist at Scruples Salon, where she was cherished by her colleagues and clients alike for her warm personality and exceptional skill.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Robert Clendenon; her loving children, R. Eric Clendenon and Lisa Sexton; and her cherished grandsons, Josh Sexton and Jacob Helton. Marsha also leaves behind her dear siblings, Brenda Thornbury, James (Susie) Blair, Deborah Blair, and Sandra Howard, stepmother Kathy Jackson, as well as five half siblings Danny Blair, Don Blair, David Blair, Doug Blair, and Stephanie Cline.

In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her stepfather Louis Povrzenich, brothers in law Clarence Thornbury, Larry Howard, and half-brother Timothy Joe Blair.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home in New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
