Marjorie J. Karth

Marjorie J. Karth, 93, passed away August 14, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born September 3, 1925 in Ashland, Ohio, to the late Carlos O. and Ina A. Stahl. Marjorie was a graduate of Ashland High School and on May 6, 1947 married Charles Edward Karth who preceded her in death in 2015. Marjorie worked for Hess & Clark Inc. for 32 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Ashland O.E.S. Chapter where she was Worthy Matron in 1961; served Grand Chapter of Ohio as Worthy Grand Matron in 1985; and was a Committee member of the General Grand Chapter of the O.E.S. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Karen (Stephen) Powell; grandchildren Stephanie (Gabe) Williams, Andrew (Marie) Powell, Melinda Karth and Michelle Karth; and great grand-children Luke and Reed Williams. She was preceded in death by brother Charles, sisters Evelyn and Beverly, and son Marshall. A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM. with a gathering beginning at 12:15 PM. at Castleton United Methodist Church, Indianapolis. Inurnment will be in the Ohio Masonic Home Cemetery on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Richards, Raff and Dunbar Memorial Home, Springfield, Ohio, and Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel.
