Marilyn L. Ramby age 72, of Tennessee, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at her residence. She was born the daughter of Herman & Melissa (Perry) Mershon on September 12, 1952, in Springfield, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph Ramby; son Joey Ramby; brothers Otha Moore Mershon, Anthony Wayne Mershon, Glenn Thomas Mershon & Tracy Howard; sisters Ellen Marie Mobry & Theresa Mae Puckett. Marilyn is survived by her loving sons Christopher T. (Ashly) Ramby of Texas & Anthony S. (Anna) Ramby of Tennessee; brothers Frank Eugene & Teddy Mershon; sisters Vivian Colwell & Carolyn Darst; grandchildren Jared, Wyatt, Dylan, Kayla, Blair, Skylar, Joey & Logan; great granddaughter Anna. Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. Marilyn was the rock of her family & enjoyed nothing more than spending quality time with them, especially with her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed baking homemade potato bread, working in her flower gardens & spending time with her K9 companion Indiana. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, 3PM at Grandview Cemetery in Urbana. Arrangements entrusted to RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME of Springfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Clark County Animal Welfare League or the charity of your choice.
