MASSIE, Marilyn H. 76 of Springfield died February 16, 2016 in Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born in Detroit, MI on May 17, 1939, the daughter of Stanley and Anna Kowalski. Marilyn was a retired cook, having worked at the Carriage Inn for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ronald Massie in 2001. Survivors include her son Ronald (Julie) Massie II; daughter Lena Massie; sister Marlene Ketlehut; granddaughters Kayla & Hannah Massie; sister-in-law Barb Ledingham; many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Community/Mercy Hospice and Jeff Davis for their exceptional care and family friend Lesha Williams for her support. Private services will be honored. RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME has been entrusted with the arrangements.
