Marie Collingsworth Lovin

Marie Collingsworth Lovin, 90, of Springfield, OH passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 in her home. She was born December 28, 1927 in Sneedsville, TN the daughter of Carson and Cora (Eagle) Roberts. Marie lived most of her adult life in Morristown, TN and came to Springfield in 2008. She was a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church and Big Spring Union Church in Tazewell, TN. Marie is survived by four daughters Cora (Leon) Parrett, Georgia (John) Parrett, and Shirley (Ken) Beaty, all of Springfield, and Ruby (Terry) Booth, of Euless, TX; three sons Howard and Ray Collingsworth, and Roger Smith, all of Springfield; three sisters Mary Ellen (Carson) Long of Tazewell, TN, Birdie Bunch and Jean (Brad) Michaels of Bristol, TN; two brothers David Roberts and Eddie (Delosha) Roberts of Tazewell, TN; ten grandchildren Lisa Beaty, David and Danny Collingsworth, Melinda Williams, Jeff (Kris) Collingsworth, Carl (Heidi) Parrett, Denny (Missy) Parrett, Dale (Loria) Parrett, Dee Dee Howell, and Katina (Chris) Gonzales; twenty four great grandchildren; sixteen great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husbands Hubert Collingsworth in 1975 and Homer Lovin in 2008; son Ivan Collingsworth; three grandchildren Mark Hatfield, Kenneth Beaty and Leora Parrett; great great granddaughter Christian Gonzales; three brothers James, Junior and Palmer Roberts. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 – 8 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Her body will then be taken to Mayes Mortuary in Morristown, TN for funeral services on Thursday at 11:00 AM. with her grandsons Rev. Leon Dennis Parrett and Carl Parrett officiating. There will be visitation at Mayes Mortuary for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
