Marie E. Chesshir

Chesshir, Marie E., 58 of Springfield passed away May 4, 2020 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on March 14, 1962, the daughter of Lonnie and Kathleen Johnson. Marie was a bus driver for MVCDC and in her spare time she loved spending time with her grandsons and watching them perform. She was preceded in death by her parents and was the last of seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband Austin Lee Chesshir, whom she married January 7, 1977; sons Jason (Danielle) Chesshir and Josh (Wendy) Chesshir; grandsons Noah and Adam Chesshir, many nieces and nephews including a special bond with Michelle Ackley, Jenny Myers and Mandy Ashley; and her dear friends at MVCDC. Due to COVID19 private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
