MARGARET R. "MAGGIE" SHEETS

95, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Springfield Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. She was born March 1, 1921 to George & Susan (Barnhart) Maxson. Maggie was a graduate of Olive Branch High School where she met her husband, Harry "P-Nut" Sheets. They were married in 1942 and would have celebrated their 75th anniversary in June. In addition to her husband, she leaves behind to love her forever, two children; a son, Ronald & Bonnie Sheets of Kalispell, Montana and a daughter, Connie Mumma of St. Paris; three grandchildren, David & Kathie Mumma of St. Paris, Michael Mumma of West Hollywood, California, and Douglas & Cheryl Mumma of Colbert, Georgia; and several nieces, nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Cox, a brother, Richard Maxson, and son-in-law, Warren Mumma. At Maggie’s request there will be no services. Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
