Lynn C. Barnes

Lynn C. Barnes age 67 of New Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her residence.  She was born the daughter of Robert & Mary (Barnes) Klett on October 17, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas.   She is preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter Tia Marie.  Lynn is survived by her sons Jeremiah (Nicole) Blackburn of Arizona, & Isaiah (Carol) Blackburn of Union; siblings Betsy (Mel) Stettler, Robert Klett Jr., Karen Benhalloum, & Ed (Melissa) Klett; grandchildren Annabel & Dylan; several nieces, nephews, & friends.  Lynn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, sewing, & baking for her family.  Lynn was famous for chocolate cookies, & her children looked forward to homemade chocolate cake for their birthdays.  Most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her granddaughter Annabel.  A memorial celebration will be announced by the family at a later date.  Private interment to be held at the convenince of the family at Glen Forest Cemetery in Yellow Springs.  Arrangements entrusted to TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.trostelchapman.com
