Luranca R. Merchant

Luranca (Louie) Renee’ Merchant, passed away in her home after a heroic battle with Breast Cancer. Born 3/3/63, in Springfield, Ohio and adopted by her loving parents Daniel and Hazel Parks of Springfield, Luranca was the embodiment of kindness and hospitalities. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her beautiful nurturing spirit garnered affection from all who knew her. Luranca worked 25 years as the family business bookkeeper, for Joseph’s Shoes and Code U Inc.. She also proudly worked as a server at Sapori Grill and Cecil and Lime Café. Luranca is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dennis J. Merchant, 5 children; Miranda Thompson, Marc Merchant, Spencer and his wife Tiffany Merchant, Alexis Merchant, and Zoie Merchant, and 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday June 27th from 5 – 7 PM. with memorial service immediately following at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, located at 838 E. High St., Springfield, Ohio. Committal services will be held in the Chapel at Rose Hill Burial Park Wednesday at 11:00 AM. The family has established a memorial fund at Security National Bank the "Luranca R.
