Lori Ann Franks

Lori Ann Franks, 64, of New Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was born August 28, 1961, the daughter of the late Carolyn Jean (Armentrout) Watson. Lori was a dedicated and compassionate nurse who loved her profession. Her caring nature extended beyond her role as a nurse. She was a generous woman, who had tremendous love for her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. She went above and beyond to protect and support them, she cherished every moment spent being part of their lives. Lori was strong and outspoken, yet gentle and selfless. She loved cooking, watching Ohio State and Bengals games, camping and listening to music. Enjoy your birthday in Heaven with your soulmate. Lori is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years John Franks; daughters Faith Marie Franks and Misti Ann Franks; brother-in-law Kenneth Harrell. She is survived by a daughter, TaShanon Franks, Bret McElfresh; a son, John Benjamin Franks, Jennifer Fullenkamp; six grandchildren, Cameron, Hannah, Autumn, Madison, Samantha & Elizabeth; great-grandson Braxton; and brothers Mark and Todd Watson.
