Loretta Anne Anspaugh

Loretta Anne Anspaugh, 79, of Springfield passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born March 20, 1938 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Carroll and Lucille Merrow. Loretta was a member of Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren where she served as church treasurer. She also attended Colonial Baptist Church. Loretta enjoyed sewing and baking for her family and church. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman L. Anspaugh; step daughter-in-law Kitty Izor-Anspaugh; and grandson Kevin Smith. Loretta is survived by her step-sons Eric (Bev), Kent (Linda) and Lance Anspaugh; step-daughter Lori Anspaugh; brother Charles (Patsy) Merrow; sisters Carol Bull, Lois (Roy) Matlock and Elaine (Gene) Kraus; 5 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor Loretta will be Saturday at 12:00 PM in Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM in the church. Pastor Tad Hobert will officiate with burial in Myers Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren or Colonial Baptist Church.
