It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lindsay Lewis, who left us peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in South Vienna, Ohio, at the age of 44. Born in Springfield, Ohio, on April 2, 1981, Lindsay's life was a testament to kindness, devotion, and a relentless zest for life. Lindsay dedicated her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally, through her work as a nurse. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, offering comfort and healing to those in need. Lindsay's compassion extended beyond her career, as she shared a deep love for horses and found joy in spending cherished moments with her husband &children. Her creative energy flourished through crafts and her knack for making every holiday a special event for family and friends. Lindsay's adventurous spirit led her on travels across the country, with Montana holding a special place in her heart. In her everyday life, Lindsay could often be found enjoying shopping trips and creating memorable experiences with her husband & children. Lindsay is survived by her loving husband, Richard Lewis, of South Vienna, Ohio; her father Dave Ridenour; her mother Karen McGee; and her beloved children, Wade Artz, Kayla Lewis, Kerrigan Lewis, and Piper Lewis. She also leaves behind her dear brothers Jake, Mike, and Chris, as well as her maternal grandmother, Donna Mabin, her maternal step-grandmother, Ophelia Kimble, father & mother in law Richard & Deb Lewis and her uncle, Steve Kimble, along with his wife, Debbie, sisters in law Rustina Lewis & Michela (Chandler) Waite, nephews Lucas & Logan, her faithful k9 companion Gus. Family, friends, and those who knew Lindsay are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home, located in Springfield, Ohio, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Following the public visitation, a private family service will commemorate Lindsay's life and legacy. The arrangements for Lindsay have been entrusted to Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, compassionate nurse, and a vibrant soul who brought light into the lives of those around her.
