Lila Mae Russell

Lila Mae Russell, 96, of South Charleston, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026. Lila Mae will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life touched many people, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Lila Mae is survived by her daughter, Amy Richards; her grandchildren, Budd and Denise Lemmon, Jared and Aracely Escalade, Amber Webb, Teresa Hurlock, Karen Hurlock, and Shelby and Brittney Richards; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She held a special place in her heart for her family, including her extra-special great-great-granddaughter, Josie Dae. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Sanders, and her sister, Sharon Bethel, along with many other close friends and family members who will cherish her memory. Lila Mae was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Budd Russell; her daughter, Janice Hurlock; her sons, Jim Lemmon and Bill Lemmon; her brother, Roger Sanders; and her sisters, Barb Drummond, Shirley Mitchell, and Carlina Beck. Lila Mae leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and memories that will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends. She will be remembered, missed, and loved always.
