Lila V. Meeks

Lila V. Meeks, 70, of Fairborn passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at home surrounded by family. She was born February 22, 1947, in Pennington Gap, Virginia, the daughter of the late Frank C. Dean and Stella M. Pearson. Lila retired from Tecumseh Local School District, where she was a bus driver for over 31 years. She enjoyed bowling, was a Life Member of S.D.W.B.A. serving as a member of the board for 22 years with 15 years as vice president and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007. Lila is preceded in death by her husband Jim Meeks in 2005. She is survived by her daughters Renee (Bill) David and Carla (Bill) Sanning; sister Evelyn Taylor; grandchildren Cali and Zach David and Kyle (Sierra), Brittany and Katlin Sanning; great-grandson Jaxx Sanning; and nephew Bruce Farrow.
