Levedah Clagett

Levedah Clagett age 90 of Springfield passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Allenview Healthcare Center.  She was born the daughter of James & Lola (Godsey) McCloskey on September 15, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Edwin Clagett; 7 siblings; daughter Cathy Snyder; son Dave Clagett.  Levedah is survived by her loving children Mike Clagett of Springfield & Karen (James) Strait both of Springfield; grandchildren Michele (Andrew) Streb, Chad (Tricia) Clagett, Tony (Lesa) Chapman, Rachael (Matthew) Fisher, Jennifer (Derek) Hesser, & Sean Clagett; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Levedah was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  She was a former member of Newson Missionary Church.  In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, shopping, cooking, & taking pictures.  She was feisty but had a giving heart and would give you the shirt off her back if needed.  Friends & family may call on Friday, November 15, 2024, at RICHARDS, RAFF 7 DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio from 10AM -11AM where a funeral service will be held at 11AM with Pastor Randy Nichols officiating.  Interment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
