96, of Dayton, Ohio passed awayTuesday, March 27, 2018.He was born January 23, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the lateWilliam & Anna (Michniewicz) Wasyk.He was a WWII Navy veteran and retired fromthe City of Oakwood.He was an avid golfer and jokester.He is survived bya son, Mark (Carol) Wasyk; a daughter, Jane (Taco) Cleary; grandchildren, Megan (Konstantine Papadopoulos) Cleary, Miles Cleary, Tracey (Gene)Matthews, Allison Wallace; four grandsons; two sisters, Carolyn & Barbara; other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Vera (Barnhart) Wasyk; three brothers, Dutchman, Frank & Charles; three sisters, Clara, Anna & Helen; and a brother-in-law, Paul Barnhart.Visitation will be10-12 noon Saturday, March 31, 2018in the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at12 noonin the funeral home.Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.Expressions of sympathy may be sent towww.trostelchapman.com
