Lee Brian Augustus

Augustus, Lee Brian, 51 of Springfield passed away November 26, 2017 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 26, 1966, the son of Richard and Linda (Ingling) Augustus. Lee was a graduate of Southeastern High School where he participated in band and track. He was active in both 4-H and FFA attaining many awards. He also attended Wright State University. Lee was formerly employed with Applebee’s Restaurants. Lee loved his family, always enjoying all family events. He had so many friends who showed their love and support during his last hours. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Augustus; grandparents Helen and Harry Ingling; Wendell P. Augustus, Helen Augustus and Ruth Augustus; and uncle Joe Swaney. Left to cherish his memory is his mother Linda(fiancée John Wilburn) Augustus; sister Lori (Dr. Gregory) Noll; nieces Danielle (Josh) Koster, Brianna Noll; nephews Daniel (Isa) Noll and Benjamin Noll; aunts and uncles James (Becky) Ingling, David (Janice) Augustus, Sue (Paul) Menda, Pamela Swaney, Mike (Debbie) Augustus and James (Linda) Augustus; numerous cousins and friends; and the two loves of his life- his cats Pippie and Slye. A celebration of Lee’s life will be Sunday at 4:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00PM until time of services.
