Larry E. Davidson

Larry E. Davidson, 76, passed away July 11, 2021. Mr. Davidson retired from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in 1999. Previous employment included American Fletcher National Bank and Lane Bryant in Indianapolis IN. He also worked previously for Marathon Oil in Findlay OH. Mr. Davidson was an avid golfer who played over 134 golf courses, had a hole-in-one and also a round of par. He was born October 14, 1944 in Newark NJ, son of Lester and Ina (Artz) Davidson. He is survived by Alice F. Davidson, wife; Robert (Angela) E. Davidson, son, of Troy OH; Melissa (Jeremy) A. Howser, daughter, of Fountaintown IN; 2 brothers, Ivan Davidson, of New Carlisle OH and Wayne Davidson of Lewisburg OH; 4 sisters, Linda Heater of Springfield OH, Nancy Combs of New Carlisle OH, Bonnie Davis of Springfield OH and Heather Marie Davidson of Clive IA; four grandsons, two granddaughters and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ina Davidson; brother, Randall Davidson. Visitation will be 1pm-3pm Wednesday July 14, 2021 at Conkle Funeral Home Avon IN. Services will be at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home in New Carlisle OH on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 3pm visitation prior from 1-3pm. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery in Casstown OH.
