Kevin E. Ray

Ray, Kevin (Slappy)E., 54 of Springfield died October 2, 2016. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on June 8, 1962, the son of Harold and Carol Ray. Kevin was a 1980 graduate of Northwestern High School. He was a member of the Machinists and Union Clubs. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf. Kevin had been the used car sales manager at Buckeye Ford. He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Reese Ray Dooley; his biological father; and grandparents Earl & Alfreda Reese. Survivors include his son Matthew Ray; daughter Makenzie Ray; his father who raised him Russell Dooley; brother Rusty (Morgan) Dooley; sisters Melody (Bruce) Perry and Denise Ray; Aunt Cheryl (Lanny) Sartor; Uncle Darrell Reese; beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; a grandchild, that he was excited about, which is due in April; and a host of friends that loved him. Services to honor Kevin will be Sunday at 3:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Visitation will begin at 1:00PM. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
