Kathy Ann Martin

Kathy A. Cook Martin, 69, of Springfield passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 after a long battle with diabetes but was not COVID related. She was born October 10, 1951 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Dick and Amanda Cook. Kathy worked as a hairdresser for many years at many different locations, retiring from Razor’s Edge. She is survived by her husband of 26 years Don Martin; sisters Valerie Reed, Darcie (Terry) Kirker, Laurie Whitt and Karla (Richard) Gunther; nephews Rick (Erin) Reed, Brian (Terri) Connolly, Brandon Whitt, Brenton (Marie) Hart, Kenneth (Lindsey) Kirker and David (Christine) Kirker; nieces Tracey Reed (Ian) Thompson, Courtney (Beau) Links, Kori (Paden) Frank and Sarah (John) Wise; numerous great-nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 5-7pm at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Barely Used Pets, 844 Jackson Hill Road, Urbana, OH, 43078.
