Shaffer Lodge 72, of the Fraternal Order of Police, and was a member of Masonic Lodge and Ingomar Lodge #610, Knights of Pythias. Fred was a great husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and great great grandpa, and is survived by his children Kelly (Cheryl) McAtee of Springfield and Jeni (Jeff) Cook of Plain City, OH; four grandchildren Jen (Doug) Six, Ashley McAtee, Joey (Colleen) Runyan and Shae Cook; great grandchildren Lindsey and Cole Six, and Jonah Garvin; a great great grandson Finley "Denny"; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty years Shirley McAtee in 2009; sisters Janet and Nancy McAtee, and Teri Gansheimer; and a granddaughter Amber McAtee.
