Judith Ann Ray, a cherished resident of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, at the age of 85. Born in Springfield, Ohio, on Sunday, June 8th, 1941, Judith lived a life full of love, dedication, and warmth.
Judy was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Ray and a devoted mother to her son, Dr. Patrick Ray, and his wife, Katlin, of Dayton, Ohio. She was a proud grandmother to Benjamin and Liliana, and a loving step-grandmother to Daniel and Kennadi. Judy's family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Her vibrant personality and kind spirit were evident in all aspects of her life. Judy worked as a bank teller at Security National, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and dedication to her work.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, Russell Smith, her mother, Mary Catherine, and her beloved husband, Bruce Ray. Despite these losses, she remained a pillar of strength and compassion for her family and friends.

A private burial will take place at New Carlisle Cemetery.
