Joyce E. Ruggles

Joyce E. Ruggles age 83 of Springfield passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024.  She was born the daughter of Phillip & Florence (Dunbar) Shuttleworth on December 14, 1940, in Springfield, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law Richard Spracklen.  Joyce is survived by her husband of 66 years Donald Ruggles; beloved children Brian (Lisa) Ruggles of Springfield, & Cindy Ruggles of Springfield; sister Patty Spracklen; grandchildren Brandon & Katey Ruggles; nieces Nancy (Eddie) Tehan, & Beth (Ron) Ciul; nephews Jeff (Pat) Spracklen & Mark (Nan) Spracklen; several grand nieces, nephews & a host of friends.  Joyce was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Joyce enjoyed playing tennis, attending craft shows, & shopping. She was known by her friends & family for being kindhearted & generous.  Joyce had a great sense of humor & her daughter will miss the burnt tollhouse cookies.   The holidays were especially important to Joyce & her family looked forward to her oyster dressing, ambrosia salad, most of all they enjoyed spending quality time together.  Friends & family may call on RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E.
