Joyce Ann Mcgillivray

Joyce Ann McGillivray, 87, of Springfield passed away surrounded by her family Sunday, September 24, 2017. She was born August 1, 1930 at home in Clark County, the daughter of the late Robert and Thelma Roach. Joyce graduated from German Rural High School in North Hampton and later married the love of her life Kenneth on September 3, 1948. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary Fire Dept. of German Township, Ladies VFW Post #8673 and a lifetime member of Rockway Lutheran Church. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth on August 23, 2008. She is survived by her daughters Denise Lobeck and Aletha (Bob Miller) Leiter; grandchildren Dawn White, Derek (Tiffany) Lobeck, Chris (Amy) Hanselman, Abbie (Shane) Yohey and Luke Miller; great-grandchildren Kelcee, Evan, Caitlen (Josh), Brylee, Jenna, Evan, Xavier and Reese; great-great grandson Cooper. Her family would like to thank her caregivers Sara, January, Heidi and Kelly of Kindred Hospice and Glenna, Kim, Jenna and Melissa of Pristine of Xenia. A funeral service to honor Joyce will be Friday at 12:00 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
