Joseph E. Ramby, Sr.

Joseph E. "Joe" Ramby, Sr., 63 of Ooltewah, TN passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was born June 09, 1953 in Springfield, Ohio to Harold and Ruth (Mundy) Ramby. Joseph graduated from Northeastern High School and on June 26, 1970 he married the former Marilyn Louise Mershon in Springfield. Joseph was a retired Truck Driver for Gordon Foods. He was an avid gun collector and spent most of his weekends tinkering in his garage fixing machines. Joseph also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Joseph is survived by his mother, Ruth, of Springfield; his wife Marilyn (Mershon) Ramby; two sons, Anthony (Anna) Ramby with their children Jarod (23), Wyatt (15), Dylan (13), and Kayla (11) of Harrison, TN and Christopher (Alexa) Ramby with their children, Blair (8) and Skylar (6) of Seabrook, TX; also, grandchildren, Joey (18) and Logan (15); numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Joseph is preceded in death by his son Joseph "Joey" Ramby Jr., and his father, Harold Ramby. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 noon – 1 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.
