Joseph A. Lyons

Lyons, Joseph A., 59 of Urbana passed away November 30, 2018 in the ER of Mercy Health Urbana. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on May 15, 1959, the son of the late John and Dorothy (Mefford) Lyons. Joe was a 1977 graduate of South High School. His hobbies include carving rocks, trains and he was a ham radio operator. Joe loved God and his family and attended the Church of God at Possum Road and Latham, Ohio. Survivors include his loving wife Mary E. Lyons, whom he married June 27, 1999; children Michelle Swyers, Mike (Roxanne) Davis and Benjamin Davis; grandchildren Taleah, Gavin, Abigail, Serenity, Cole, Caden and Madison; loving sister Linda Pencil; best friend/cousin Terry Mefford; special nieces Stephanie and Laura; three great nephews and one great niece. Services to honor Joe will be Thursday at 1:30PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Brother Roger Cummings officiating. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services.
