John N. Rogers

Rogers, John N. "Bud", 86 of Springfield passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Tarpon Springs, Florida on April 1, 1931. He served his country in the US Army. John retired from the Glazers Union as an installer. He was a member of the VFW Enon and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and carpentry. John was preceded in death by his parents; step father Samuel Rogers, Sr.; son Andrew; brothers Robert and Gary; and sister Patricia Simpson. Survivors include his wife Ruby E. Rogers, whom he married May 2, 1953; son Nick (Melissa) Rogers; brothers Samuel (Pat) Rogers, Jr. and William (Debbie) Rogers; grandchildren Sarah (Bryan) Hallam and Nathan (Amber) Rogers; great-grandchildren Dylan, Riley, Tyler, Levi, Tristan, Daniel, Peyton and Raygan; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 - 8 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor John will be Friday at 11:00AM in the Memorial Home with burial to follow in Vale Cemetery.
