JOHN W. ALLENDER

93, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away May 7, 2018. He was born March 18, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Roy & Alma (Arnett) Allender. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and retired from The Duriron Co. & Bethel Local Schools. He is survived by two sons, John Michael & Carla (Roller) Allender, and Jeffrey F. & Janine (Daub) Allender; two grandsons, Jonathan William & Jennifer (Mauer) Allender, Justin D. & Rachel (Howe) Allender; four great grandchildren, Olivia, Joel, Asher & Jaxson; together with loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and lifelong friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Fae Allender; a sister and three brothers. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Friday, May 11, 2018 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
