JIMMIE CRAWFORD

82, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016. He was born June 20, 1934 in Grayson, Kentucky the son of the late Paul & Inez (Ferguson) Crawford. He retired after 36 years of service as a Aerospace Engineer, was a member of the Honey Creek Presbyterian Church and coached baseball in New Carlisle. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, June Crawford; three sons, James (Valerie) Crawford, Stephen (Bridget) Crawford, Randy Crawford; grandson, Aaron Crawford; granddaughter, Tiffany Cobb; a brother, Kenneth Crawford; and his extended family in England; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Jean Smith. Visitation will be 11-2 PM Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Honey Creek Presbyterian Church, 212 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 2 PM in the church. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crosswinds Hospice of Dayton & Honey Creek Presbyterian Church.
