Jerry W. Wilson

Wilson, Jerry W., 82 of Springfield passed away March 11, 2021. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on November 25, 1938, the son of Lawrence and Freda Wilson. Jerry served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the former Fifth Lutheran Church; Clark Lodge #101 F & AM and was past president of the Noon Optimist Club. He was the former owner of Springfield Fire Protection. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; son Larry Wilson on March 7, 2020; brothers Delvin Hicksenhytzer and James Wilson. He is survived by his daughter Terri (David Maler) Brumfield of Springfield; sister Hilda (Edward) Dunn; grandsons Bryan (Shelby) Brumfield of Columbus, Jason Brumfield of Enon; 2 great grandchildren Ava & Isaiah Brumfield; ex-wife Helen Russell. Services to honor Jerry will be Wednesday at Noon with Clark Lodge #101 F&AM providing Masonic Services. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM. Burial to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
