Jeffery Glen Jones, Sr.

Jeffery Glen Jones, Sr., 67, of New Carlisle passed away on August 1, 2026. He was born in Xenia, Ohio, on December 15, 1958, to Jim and Rebecca Jones. Jeff worked for many years in the Tool and Die industry before he had to medically retire. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, UK Basketball, and the Cincinnati Bengals. Jeff will be greatly missed by his mother, Rebecca Jones; son Jeffery G. Jones, Jr. (Jonathan); daughter Carley Jones; grandchildren, Alayna & Coraline Hamilton; siblings, Tom Jones, Tim Jones, Janice Sandy, Jennifer Lewis, and Arnold Jones. He is preceded in death in 1997, by his wife of 18 years, Cynthia Jones, and his father, Jim Jones. Visitation will be held at Trostel Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 11 a.m. until noon, when the service to honor Jeff’s life will start.
