Jeffery L. Collins

Jeffery L. Collins age 67 of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton.  He was born the son of Lawrence Sr. & Betty (Perkins) Collins on April 9, 1957 in Springfield, Ohio.  He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers Lawrence Jr. & Dewey L. Collins.  Jeffery is survived by his children Dustin Collins, Elizabeth Radford & Amy Anderson; sister Theresa Collins; several grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & a host of friends.  Jeffery was a member of the United States Marine Corps serving his country honorably during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Beatty Freewill Baptist Church.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially if it involved fishing or hiking.  Jeffery was always on the hunt for a bargain and enjoyed thrifting to add items to his many collections.  He enjoyed watching football and rooted for The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.  Friends & family may call on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 11:00AM with Pastor Steve Wallace officiating.  Interment to follow in Dayton National Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
